After the earthquake of October 8, 2005, Forum of Rehabilitation of Disabled (FORD) was founded with an objective of providing integrated services in the entire spectrum of development for the uplift of the quality of the life of the persons with limited physical and functional mobility.

FORD provides both preventative, curative and assistive health services to the person with physical challenges
FORD in collaboration with its partners provides comprehensive vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities age 14 to 90+
Organizing community leaders, officials, children, and parents is an important part of FORD’s community development program.

FORD’s work depends on the support and cooperation of many people and organization. In addition to countless volunteers and individual donors around the area, it has been delivering many services to organizations playing an important role in socio-economic community development.
FORD maintains relationship by consolidating the resources of other working organizations in recognizing the community’s interests, engaging the NGOs and Community Organizations for solidarity, coordination and self realization. Collaboration was developed with various self-help groups, NGOs and INGOs to facilitate in the provision of information to implementation of projects.
